BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - Last week, the final defendant in a six-person methamphetamine conspiracy centered in Bowling Green was sentenced.
On March 17, Shantaja Hutchins was sentenced to serve 18 1/2 years in federal prison.

WHEELING, WEST VIRGINIA – A Chicago, Illinois man was sentenced today for operating a drug distribution organization that transported fentanyl from Chicago, Illinois, to Weirton, West Virginia, announced U.S. Attorney Matthew L. Harvey.
The Appalachia HIDTA mission is to enhance and coordinate drug enforcement efforts of local, state and federal law enforcement agencies within areas designated as High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas by pursuing the disruption/dismantlement of Drug Trafficking Organizations, particularly as it relates to the specific drug threat of the Appalachian region.
